Ludhiana, India – A Grand Industrial Meet and Roadshow of INDIA MACHINE TOOLS SHOW 2023 was held on 12 April, 2023 in Ludhiana, a major hub of Machine Tools industry. The 9th edition of the INDIA MACHINE TOOLS SHOW will be held from 18-21 May 2023 at the Pragati Nagar, New Delhi. The organizer K and D Communication Ltd. is a pioneering trade fair organizer in India with over 25 years of experience in organizing & managing national and international exhibitions all across India in different industrial segments. This Industrial Meet and Roadshow was actively supported by the Ludhiana Machine Tool Manufacturers Association (LMTMA). They have long been a prominent supporter of India Machine Tools Show 2023. In attendance were Mr Amarjit Singh Sagar (Director LMTMA), Mr Virinder Sharma (Director MSME - DI Ludhiana Ministry of Micro, Small & Medium Enterprise), Mr Kulwant Singh NKH (Director LMTMA), and Mr Sanjeev Sethi (Punjab State Chapter, PHDCCI). After their welcome and felicitation, each of these distinguished guests on the dias along with Mr. Kamlesh Gohil, Managing Director of K & D Communication Ltd addressed the large gathering of LMTMA members and many manufacturers from all over Punjab particularly from Jalandhar and Batala, the other two clusters of Machine Tool manufacturing besides Ludhiana.

Through audio visual presentations the organizers K and D Communication Limited highlighted the importance of INDIA MACHINE TOOLS SHOW 2023 in the larger context of the current world economic scenario and the justification for the tagline of the trade show “The Global Marketplace”. As we know, India is the only large economy projected to grow significantly in the coming years based largely on the domestic demand within the country. This bright outlook for India contrasts sharply with the projections for the rest of the world and so the world looks to India for economic growth. We have seen many international companies set up manufacturing bases in India to cater to the domestic market of India as well as the world. Again, the international emphasis on ‘reliable supply chains’ and ‘friendshoring’, coupled with the avid pursuit of FDI by the Indian government has generated a huge international interest in manufacturing in India for the whole world. This large influx of international companies has inevitably brought with it cutting edge technology, best practices and intense competition. To our credit, the domestic industry has shown enormous appetite to absorb, assimilate and adopt these technologies and are exploiting to the full these opportunities to both hone their capabilities as well as expand their outreach to international markets. Further there is the government of India’s huge spend in Infrastructure, Railways, core industries and public enterprises following the ambitious target set by the honorable PM of becoming a USD 5 trillion economy by 26-27. Altogether, huge opportunities have arisen for the capital goods industry and machine tools in particular. INDIA MACHINE TOOLS SHOW will significantly help progress in this direction.

The AV presentations also highlighted how INDIA MACHINE TOOLS SHOW 2023 was primed to live up the expectations. The gross exhibition area of India Machine Tools Show was 30,000 sq. m., there were 400+ Exhibitors including International participation and 50,000+ visitors from India and abroad were expected at the trade show. The Organizers spoke about the many platforms created to facilitate sharing of knowledge, robust interaction among participants and fostering of partnerships and collaboration. These included Seminars, B2B meets, Vendor Development etc.

Mr. Kamlesh Gohil also took this opportunity to announce the launch of the Punjab Machine Tools Show which will be held at Chandigarh from 18 to 21 October 2024. He along with all the distinguished speakers on the dias unveiled the brochure of the inaugural edition of the Punjab Machine Tools Show 2024.

The Industrial Meet and Roadshow was intended to spread awareness about and stimulate interest in the local Machine Tool Industry in Punjab about participating in INDIA MACHINE TOOLS SHOW 2023. There was widespread enthusiastic response and in this way, the roadshow was a whopping success.
